Lets Talk About Your Cat

Clean & Combed Out

This is our standard grooming service for all kitties. Regular grooms of every 4-8 weeks (depending on the cat’s needs) prevent matting, hairballs, excessive shedding, in-grown toenails, litter box leftovers and even ear and eye issues. It includes:

  •  All nails trimmed
  •  Gentle ear and eye cleaning
  •  Warm, massaging bath
  •  Complete blow dry
  •  Comb out to remove excess dead coat and any minor tangles
  •  Sanitary trim for large or long-haired kitties

Shedding Package

Is your cat shedding up a storm? Let us help! This de-shed groom gently removes excessive dead coat and can eliminate up to 80% of shedding at home if repeated every 6-8 weeks. Includes everything in Clean & Combed Out plus additional hair removal without affecting the length of the cat’s coat. A great option for mild to moderate allergy sufferers!

Sharp Nails

Are you having trouble with your cat's sharp nails scratching and causing damage? We have the solution! nail caps are small, vinyl caps that cover the sharp tips of your cat's nails. They are still able to extend, grasp and make natural movements while wearing the nail caps. Nail caps can be applied in addition to any grooming service or scheduled as a stand alone appointment.

Every nail cap application includes trimming all nails, and removing any old nail caps. We recommend replacing nail caps every 4-6 weeks, maximum 8 weeks to prevent any discomfort.

The Comb Cut

This “short and fluffy” Teddy Bear trim is preferable for older or more particular cats who are not candidates for the shorter Lion Cut trim. Less hair, but leaves the cat with a cute teddy bear style look. Includes everything in the Clean & Combed Out groom, plus a haircut leaving approximately ½-¾ of an inch of hair. Tail can be left full or trimmed in a pom pom style.

The Lion Cut

You want the hair GONE. We totally get it! This trim is quite close to the skin, only leaving a moderate mane, hair below the front elbows, rear hock bone and either a full tail or a pom pom style. Lion cuts are a great option for both short and long-haired healthy, adult cats to prevent matting or reduce shedding.

Clumps, Knots & Tangles

*Prices will vary assuming the cat has minimal to no clumps, knots or tangles. Cats that are matted will be quoted additional fees during check-in based on the time required to safely remove them. Severe or large areas of matting will require a Lion Cut for the cat’s comfort. A more accurate price can be provided once the groomer evaluates the cat’s condition and personality. Cats with certain medical or stress-related conditions may be referred to a veterinarian for a sedated groom or monitoring for your cat's safety.

For cats needing a Lion Cut for severe mat removal, pricing is higher for the initial appointment. This is to help promote healthy hair growth, check and trim nails to an appropriate length and to discuss future grooming schedule and services that will prevent mats from returning and to keep your cat in the best shape possible.

Dog Grooming/Cat Grooming in Utah FAQ:

Q: Do you do teeth cleaning?

A: We do teeth brushing and breath freshening treatments. If your pet has a great deal of plaque on their teeth and your pet's gums are red and irritated, then you may need to take your pet to a veterinarian.

Q: Do you sedate the animals?

A: No, we do not sedate the animals. If your pet is prone to stress or aggression, then you may need to have your pet sedated and groomed by a veterinarian. Your veterinarian may be able to prescribe something so we may move forward with grooming your pet.

Q: How often should my pet be groomed?

A: That depends on the type/condition of your pet's coat but a general time frame is anywhere between 4 and 8 weeks. Many people have their pet groomed every other week or even every week.

Q: How long will it take to groom my pet?

A: Grooming time depends on many factors: the breed of pet, their coat condition and the type of style you want are just a few. Your groomer can estimate the time needed when they see your pet.
